Located in the heart of the Old Town, Frauenkirche (seen here via webcam) is an 18th-century sandstone church with a magnificent Baroque dome.  It was completely destroyed in World War II and has been rebuilt exactly as it was, using more than 100,000 of its original stones.

webcam focused on Marienplatz in Munich, Germany


Visitors gather in the Marienplatz pedestrian-only zone in Munich’s historic heart to view the free 43-bell glockenspiel show daily at 11 a.m., noon, and 5 p.m.  You can view it, too, via webcam.
