So while you were there, did you stroll down the High Line park and look up at the hotel? The views are suposedly quite interesting. Just don't take your kids. See http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2009/08/standard_hotels_exhibitionist.html .
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about this claim to fame until after I visited! But I did notice the hotel's beer garden and plan to test it out next time I'm in town.
