This webcam is focused on NYC's Empire State Building. This 102-story Art Deco skyscraper is located in Midtown Manhattan. During the coronavirus pandemic, the building shines in a dynamic
heartbeat to show solidarity and support to the people in 180
countries affected by COVID-19. Additionally, at the top of every hour, the building sparkles in the colors of First Responders to pay respect to the heroic
emergency workers on the front line of the fight. Also, the building's world-famous tower lights syncs to a broadcast of
Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind" every night at 9:00 pm, and at the close of this show goes dark for 5 minutes to honor the memory of those who have
lost their lives in the global pandemic and those who grieve for them.
